MusicAL MUSEO – 16 July
Palazzo Ricchieri takes centre stage again on three Thursdays in July (2nd, 16th and 23rd) with “MusicAL MUSEO”, a project organised by the APN Association as part of the “Thursdays under the stars” programme.
Do you have a budding artist at home who can’t wait to fill every blank sheet of paper with stories and characters? This July, the Palazzo del Fumetto is opening its doors to creativity with ‘First Steps in Drawing’, a stimulating and accessible summer camp for children aged 8 and over. Five weekly sessions designed to turn a passion for drawing into a real skill, whilst having fun and experimenting alongside industry professionals.
In July, ‘First Steps in Drawing’ returns with five sessions. This course guides participants on a gradual and stimulating journey to discover the fundamental principles of drawing. Through progressive exercises, the course teaches children to observe with greater awareness, understanding shapes, proportions and relationships, and then translating these into images. An important part of the course is devoted to drawing from life, an essential tool for training the eye, improving accuracy and developing greater awareness in drawing.
The principles of perspective and image composition are also introduced, to help students understand how space works and how to arrange shapes, lines and volumes within the page, so as to depict objects and settings in a simple, realistic, balanced and clear manner.
A course suitable for all levels. The programme is designed to adapt to the level and needs of each participant.
Beginners are guided step by step through the basics, whilst those with some experience can consolidate and expand their knowledge by experimenting with new techniques and approaches.
More advanced students, on the other hand, will find inspiration, targeted exercises and useful tips to refine their style and make their drawings increasingly personal.
The Palazzo del Fumetto provides all the materials needed for the educational activity.
If you use any special drawing tools, we recommend that you bring them with you.
