A themed visit to the Art Museum will allow you to admire the portraits in the permanent collection, uncovering the secrets hidden behind each of them. Important figures have always entrusted artists with their image in order to convey specific messages to their contemporaries and to future generations. Some wished to demonstrate that they had reached the height of success and wealth, while others wanted to highlight their virtues. Across the centuries, you will discover the importance of portraiture and the various artists who excelled in this pictorial genre. At the end of the visit, you will even be able to take your own portrait… in 19th-century style!
BOOKING is RECOMMENDED by the Thursday preceding the date of the visit.
