Living Earth and Slow Waters: A Stroll Through Art, Memory, and the River with Guerrino Dirindin.
On Sunday 28 June, Pordenone is offering an experience that weaves together art, nature and the local heritage with ‘Terra viva e acque lente’, a guided tour exploring the creative world of Guerrino Dirindin and the deep connection between the city and its river landscape. The initiative, organised by Pordenone City Council, invites residents and visitors alike to slow down and rediscover the relationship between people, water and the local area through the artist’s own words.
The event is scheduled for 9.45 am at the Studio Atelier Guerrino Dirindin, 3 Via del Cuch, Vallenoncello, with activities starting at 10.00 am. The morning will begin with a tour of the studio, where participants will have the opportunity to see the artist’s works up close and hear about his creative journey, his family history and his connection to the local area.
The walk will then continue towards the river, where a symbolic ceremony will be held to bless the waters and participants’ intentions – a gesture that highlights the importance of water as a defining feature of the Pordenone landscape and provides an opportunity to reflect on the relationship between the community and the environment.
Participation in this initiative is open to all; we recommend that you register with the association using the online form available via the following link.
In the event of bad weather, the event will be cancelled. We recommend leaving your car in the car park next to the church in Vallenoncello (link to location).
