“Paris, Parigi!”, premiati in Galleria Bertoia i vincitori del contest fotografico

The Councillor for Culture, Alberto Parigi, attended the awards ceremony for the ‘Paris, Parigi!’ photography competition, organised by Suazes as part of the programme of events accompanying the exhibition ‘Lo sguardo che racconta’, dedicated to Robert Doisneau and hosted at the Galleria Harry Bertoia. Inspired by the famous photographer’s Parisian imagery, the competition engaged the public by inviting them to reinterpret his style through photographs taken against the backdrops of Teatro Urbano 27, which is due to take place in Piazza della Motta. The winner of the competition was Valeria, who, like all the finalists, received a Pordenone 2027 goody bag.

The initiative forms part of the wider cultural programme organised in the run-up to Pordenone’s designation as Italian Capital of Culture 2027, with the aim of complementing the exhibitions with a series of related events designed to broaden participation and actively engage the community.

During the awards ceremony, the Councillor for Culture, Alberto Parigi, said:

‘The exhibitions we are organising are always accompanied by a series of side events – or rather, complementary events – which help to build a genuine cultural project that goes beyond the individual exhibition. This initiative, organised by Suazes, attracted a good turnout and is one of the ways in which we bring people closer to the exhibitions.’

The figures and statistics back us up: between the exhibition and the related events at Galleria Bertoia and Palazzo Ricchieri, as well as the cultural markets, we have already reached 17,000 visitors, effectively exceeding the total for the whole of 2024.

This event also marked the first instalment of Teatro Urbano, which has already been well received. I would like to take this opportunity to announce the next event, scheduled for Sunday 26 April: the pieces of the puzzle for Pordenone as Capital of Culture are gradually falling into place, starting as early as 2026.
