To mark Festa della Liberazione, the Civic Museums of Pordenone will open their doors to the public on Saturday 25 April. The Museo d'Arte,, the Galleria Bertoia and the Museo di storia Naturale will be open from 10.00–13.00 and 15.00–19.00, whilst the Museo Archeologico will be open in the afternoon, from 15.00 to 19.00.
The weekend promises to be packed with events. On Sunday 26 April, the Galleria Bertoia will host the final two guided tours of the photography exhibition dedicated to Robert Doisneau, to mark the closing of the exhibition. The tours are scheduled for 3.30 pm and 4.45 pm: a final opportunity to immerse yourself in the poetic world of the great French photographer, accompanied by an expert guide.
Also on Sunday 26 April, but at the Museo di Storia Naturale, a guided tour of Patrizio Maniero’s photographic exhibition ‘Images from the New World’ is scheduled for 3.30 pm. The tour takes visitors on a journey through stunning photographs and zoological specimens from the museum’s permanent collections, exploring the extraordinary hunting and adaptation strategies of the animals of Central and South America, whilst inviting visitors to reflect on their fate.
All activities, including guided tours, are included in the price of the admission ticket.
