Visite guidate alla mostra Toppi. Le profondità verticali

The exhibition traces the evolution of his increasingly layered, restless, and furious artistic style, revealing the creation of illustrations that break free from traditional constraints and reinvent the relationship between solid and void, black and white, and the use of color. The tour also takes visitors into Toppi’s imagination: his defeated and melancholic characters, his fascination with history and the exotic, the unsettling atmospheres, and those bitter endings that make his stories so profound and unforgettable.

A journey through some of the most significant periods of his artistic career, from the 1960s to his works of full maturity, exploring an artist capable of making each illustration a work in its own right—a narrative universe built on atmosphere and evocative power.
