Pasqua ai Musei Civici: tre mattinate di laboratori creativi per bambini

The Easter holidays provide an opportunity to explore, create and have fun amongst the collections of the Civic Museums. Three special mornings — Thursday 2, Friday 3 and Tuesday 7 April 2026 — designed for children in Years 1 to 5, featuring hands-on activities, guided tours and games inspired by the treasures of the city’s museums.

Every day, from 8.30 am to 12.30 pm, explore a different museum with a specific theme. Places are limited: a maximum of 20 participants per session.

THE PROGRAM

Day 1 – Museo Archeologico | 2 April: Discovering precious metals. The children will try their hand at the technique of embossing on a copper plate, creating a votive disc inspired by examples from Western Friuli and Eastern Veneto.

Day 2 – Museo d'Arte | 3 April Easter egg hunt at the Art Museum. Drawing inspiration from the works in the permanent collection and the style of the great masters, participants will decorate their own Easter eggs artistically. Inside, they can keep animal-shaped origami figures made during the workshop.

Day 3 – Museo di Storia Naturale | 7 April Tiny, precious houses amongst the branches The children will weave string and cardboard to build a nest, which they can decorate and embellish with a handmade paper egg — ready to welcome its little inhabitants.
